Flow has developed the FlowMaster software especially for shape cutting on high-pressure waterjet and abrasive waterjet machines. It runs on PC under MS Windows, and combines independent CAD/CAM software with programming and machine control. The basis is a computing model that incorporates more than 20 years of experience with the abrasive cutting process, supported by a complete material databank. The actual processing effort is able to be exactly determined in advance with an additional calculation tool.
FlowMaster monitors a variety of process quantities and machinery functions.
For instance, it adapts the feed rate to the actual contour under consideration of the material properties. The results are an economically optimised cutting process as well as a consistent cutting quality irrespective of material type, thickness and part geometry.

The selection of the efficient type of piercing takes place depending on the type of material and

Special applications or individual macro-programming - optionally by the user or Flow
Additional models assume further functions such as complete interlacing of the components; execution of special operation such as drilling holes; conversion of scanned images into DXF code.
